Having started on the 7th of February, Trevor’s Swim School has kicked off its 2021 year at the Philippi Children’s Centre indoor heated pool! We are thrilled to be able to welcome our kids back for swim classes – even with the stricter regulations and health safety protocols.
Because our year started with the saddening news of having lost one of our beloved board members, Graeme, it is especially great to be able to honour his incredible memory by bringing joy and laughter back into our school grounds.
The kids truly love their swimming lessons and, knowing how important both play and physical activity are for healthy early childhood development, we are excited to be back in action with our dear friends over at Trevor’s.
To enquire about booking your child, or even yourself, some classes (ages from 2 and a half years right up to adulthood all welcome), please contact 084 617 9101. Transport from other crèches in the area is available, upon request.
We are equally delighted to be able to report that none of the PCC staff, children, or families have been affected by the 2nd wave of Covid-19!

P.s. a very special thank you to Graeme’s family for their significant food and clothes parcels donated to PCC. We were able to distribute 40 food parcels to families in the area, as well as to donate clothes to one of the farms in the surrounding area. A true legacy left behind!
